Hi, I am Kimberley Chen, a Graphic Designer and Illustrator based in London and I currently work at Little Tiger Press.
HIGHLIGHTS I designed the book cover and interiors for If You Still Recognise Me which was shortlisted for the Waterstones Children's Book Prize Older Readers category. I was commissioned to illustrate the portrait for The Girl with the Louding Voice book, which was chosen as Waterstones Fiction Book of the Month. It was also featured on Sky Arts Book Club Live hosted by chef and broadcaster Andi Oliver and author and journalist Elizabeth Day, and shown on BBC Two Between the Covers presented by Sara Cox. AWARDS Shortlisted, Academy of British Cover Design Award (ABCD), Mike Falls Up written by Candy Gourlay. Highly commended, St Bride Foundation's Wynkyn de Worde Cover Design Prize, Holes written by Louis Sachar. EXHIBITION Here There exhibition at the Today Art Museum in Beijing, China. My book cover designs were selected by the graphic design studio Regular Practice, and Adrian Shaughnessy, co-founder of the publisher Unit Editions and Visiting Tutor at the Royal College of Art to feature in the exhibition.
